Job Description: Property Management Commercial Lease Administrator
The Property Management Commercial Lease Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of commercial leasing operations within a real estate and property management company. The individual in this role will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and effective administration of commercial leases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage Commercial Lease Administration:
- Coordinate and administer all commercial lease agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Oversee lease documentation, including lease abstracts, amendments, and renewals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date lease files and records.
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants and address any lease-related inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
2. Lease Negotiation and Renewal:
- Assist with negotiating and finalizing lease agreements, ensuring terms align with company objectives and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and property management teams, to ensure smooth lease negotiations and renewals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to determine appropriate lease terms and rental rates.
3. Financial Management:
- Monitor lease payments and ensure timely collection of rent and other charges.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to prepare accurate financial reports related to commercial lease operations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting lease-related income and expenses.
4. Lease Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with lease terms, including rent escalations, lease expirations, and extensions.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to draft and review lease agreements, amendments, and other legal documents.

5. Tenant Relationship Management:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commercial lease administration, property management, or real estate.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lease terms, concepts, and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple leases and tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in lease administration software and Microsoft Office Suite.
